St Chad’s add to Pot Noodle haul
St Chad’s took up the pot noodle challenge laid down by Ashton Morton Slack and Aviva and have taken it to a whole new level. They collected 773 pot noodles, creating an amazing tower of meals to support the rough sleepers that are given food parcels by the Cathedral Archer Project.
The congregation at St Chad’s really got behind the project, and also enlisted the help of Abbey Lane and Woodseats Primary Schools to ensure they beat the previous donation record of 381.
Pot Noodles give rough sleepers a filling hot meal and the Cathedral Archer Project tries to ensure they have a least 2 in each food parcel they hand out.
