We received a lovely thank you note this week. We know that the people we work with are wonderful and kind but not everyone thinks that. I thought you might like to read for yourselves.
The thank you came on a postcard and was typed and headed SHEFFIELD CATHEDRAL ARCHER PROJECT and continued:
Will you please convey my grateful thanks to GS (name withheld) who sells “The Big Issue” near the Cathedral, for the help he gave me when I tripped and fell down the steps near the Cathedral last Saturday morning. I was in shock and disorientated. (I’m 77). GS came to my assistance, helped me get up and sat me near the wall. He alerted two ladies who phoned the paramedics. They stayed till the ambulance came and GS kept me alert by talking about the Archer Project as I believe he thought I might faint. I should be fine in a few days, only aches and pains and bruising, but I want you to know of GS’s help and kindness.
We were delighted to receive this and have shared it with GS.
