The Secret Millionaire has been screened, if you missed it you can click the link here to watch it on Channel 4 On Demand. To [...] Dr Patel, the Secret Millionaire that visited the Cathedral Archer Project, commented on one of his experiences whilst filming, “A young lady, with an extremely difficult life and huge loss of self-esteem, taught me not only how to skate, but also to trust her not to let me fall – which she didn’t.” This [...] Thanks to some very generous supporters we now have a 2 minute video we can show to tell people about the work we do at the Archer Project. Eamonn, Lucy and Joe worked with us to produce the video, which you can now see: Archer Project video. Thank you – it looks like everyone that took part had a lovely time. We have had some wonderful photos sent to us and we shall be sharing them with you soon. Here’s a couple to keep you going… A4e BannerJones [...] Howard Webb, the World Cup Final referee and local celebrity has lent his support and a yellow card to Woolly Hat Day on Friday 11th February. You can join in and help raise funds for the Project. Just contact Tracy Viner for a registration pack. Many local schools and companies have already signed up [...] New year – new event! We are delighted to announce Woolly Hat Day. On Friday 11th February 2011 we are asking everyone to wear a woolly hat and make a donation to the Cathedral Archer Project to help raise funds. The Big Lottery Reaching Communities Fund has granted the Cathedral Archer Project £388,000 over the next three years to deliver a new and exciting programme to develop client volunteers and activities, called First Steps to Stability.
