At The Archer Project, we believe everybody has a right to a fulfilling and enjoyable life and there are some important things we can do to help people achieve this. Leaving a gift in your Will is one of the most valuable ways you can support the future of our work with people experiencing homelessness.
We are constantly working to secure resources for The Project from the community, local businesses and funding bodies, and we are grateful for the generous support we receive. We are currently the busiest we have ever been at The Project – with the increased demand for our services, we need help now more than ever.
By leaving us a gift in your Will, you could help us:
Provide a safe space that people can use and where they can access some of the basics of life (food, drink, medical care, showers, and laundry facilities).
Engage with individuals who come to us and support them in building a more stable lifestyle as part of their journey away from the street.
Help the people we support to work towards achieving long-term employment, initially through opportunities with our social enterprises, Just Clean and Printed by Us.
Legacy giving is straightforward. Here are some steps to consider when thinking about making a Will:
We suggest using a solicitor or accredited legal advisor to create or update your Will; there are also online sites that offer you advice on creating your own Will.
It is important that you include our charity number and our address in your Will. As well as this, you should also be as clear as possible about what you would like to leave, and the amount.
You may want to ask your legal advisor to keep a copy of your Will to ensure that it is stored safely.
Your gift will help us continue to deliver holistic, trauma-informed care for people who desperately need it.
