The decorative stars on our tree at Sheffield Cathedral's Christmas Tree Festival were handcrafted by people progressing away from homelessness.
Each star reflects feelings hoped for in 2026 – symbols of new beginnings, safety, and belonging.
In the coming year we will continue providing life changing support for people experiencing homelessness in our community.
With your help, we can empower individuals to pursue the hopes and goals they wish to achieve in building a life beyond homelessness.
You can see the stars by visiting our tree at Sheffield Cathedral until 5pm on Sunday 11th January. The winning tree will receive a £250 donation – please vote here.
From everyone at The Archer Project, thank you and Happy New Year!
Image with headline: A Christmas tree inside Sheffield Cathedral, decorated with red and silver tinsel, baubles in various colours, and warm white string lights. The main feature of the decoration is the star-shaped ornaments with hand drawn and written messages made by people supported at The Archer Project. A small sign on a stand is positioned to the right of the tree. In the background are wooden pews, stone columns and stained glass windows illuminated by the daylight.
