Dear Lucy and the Archer Project Family,
This Thanksgiving, I find myself reflecting deeply on the people and places that have carried me through – and you are at the heart of that reflection.
Thank you for seeing me when I felt invisible. For offering dignity, warmth, and a place where I felt safe to just be. Your kindness, patience, and humanity have meant more to me than I can put into words.
Lucy, your compassion and the light you bring into difficult spaces have made a lasting impact on my life. You've helped me feel like I mattered – like I had worth beyond my struggle. And that feeling… it stays with me, even on the hard days.
I also want to share something very special with you – I've been granted my status.
It's still sinking in, but it's real. And I know in my heart that I couldn't have reached this point without the support and strength I received from you and everyone at the Archer Project. You helped me hold on when things felt hopeless, and now I get to breathe a little deeper and look toward the future.
To the whole Archer Project family – thank you for being a shelter not just from the cold, but from despair. You've built a community that uplifts, listens, and stands beside those who are often overlooked. You've given me hope, and reminded me that healing is possible when people care, truly care.
I carry that care with me, and I'm grateful for it every single day. Thank you for everything – and Happy Thanksgiving from the bottom of my heart.
